Certain time, desdescends the slope
Walking towards the fair
That, it weekly happens
Where I buy the food
That little by little during the week I will consume.
It happens, that on that beautiful day
I witness a touching scene
Which, it make me cry
Because, I saw a beautiful little dog
Wandering in the dust road
Starving and alone
Without anybody that could help him.
Then, moved because the scene
I fast bought him a delicious hot dog
Where I usually buy
Before I approach the street where
Every week I shop.
And, even before I call him
I noticed that he was already at my side
Looking at me seating up
Anxious so the hot-dog he could devour.
Then, sad, although astonished
After paying the hot-dog to the sales person
I waited for few minutes
Allowing time for the hot-dog to cool off
For, finally, happily give him the food.
Immediately leaving to go shopping
On that day whose sun and breeze
They seemed did not want to separate.
And, when finishing doing my shopping
I returned walking the same street
That formerly had past
For my surprise to see the street dog to recognize me
For, immediately start running towards me at full speed
Happily coming to meet me
Wagging the tail, barking and jumping
Following me until I have come home
For, then, after I open the gate
Politely, as friend, in the residence to enter,
Creating thus a solid friendship
And, that it has been lasting since that day.
And, really even it won a name
Because I named him Zeca!
I like him a lot due to his fidelity
But also, for having me as a friend
Since that day, that everything seemed lost to him
Due to solitude and hunger truly felt.
